Take That… *smirks*

now.. *smiles* at risk of being dissed for once liking Take That.. i hadta to blog that I just watched their Ultimate Tour Concert @ Manchester on ITV2.. which prolly makes my situation worse.. but!.. considering i saw them live in 1995 @ Adelaide Entertainment Centre.. i think it was september 25th.. nm.. minor detail
.. but considering that this time around Robbie Williams was not taking part in the concert.. i must say i was impressed with the way the concert carried out.. they group had the same presence and energy as they did back in 1995.. so much so.. i almost forgot that Robbie was ever part of the group.. it didn’t seem to make a difference that he wasn’t there.. altho they did pay tribute him via holographic image to the opening verse of ‘Could It Be Magic‘ .. which i thought was quite admirable..
now.. i dun consider myself a Take That fan.. there was a brief amount of time back in 1995 that i went a bit nuts on them.. but i dun remember it actually lasting longer than a few months.. but at the same time, in an objective light.. they do write good songs.. and they’re all quite musical, in that they all play instruments and most, if not all, of them are still somewhat involved in the music industry.. be it production, or what not..
..ya wouldn’t have thought that it’s been 11 years since i saw them last in concert, they all looked good and performed well.. congrats to them.. they’ve proved that they are the ultimate boy band!
dun deny it.. it was either Take That or East 17.. i know most of you who woulda been around the age of 14-18, at the time, out there liked one of them *smirks* ..maybe even owned a cd of theirs
